Canoncita Ranch, which is located south of Palo Duro Canyon State Park, has been acquired by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The 1200-acre Canoncita Ranch deeded to the Amarillo Area Foundation was turned over to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
